NSC specializes in surface mount and thru-hole PCB (printed circuit board) assembly. All PCB assembly services are performed in an ESD (electro-static discharge) controlled environment. We utilize both lead and lead free (RoHS compliant) assembly processes to accommodate varying customer requirements. Depending on the order quantity and complexity of the circuit board assembly, NSC uses a combination of assembly methods. Manual or hand assembly, bench top pick and place (semi-automated), auto pick and place assembly (fully automated) and wave soldering (semi-automated).
All PCB assemblies go through a washing process and are visually inspected for assembly errors. When required, circuit board assemblies are tested using fixtures provided or designed by the customer. Upon completion, each PCB assembly is carefully packaged and shipped to the customer.
