Q: Do you allow your customers to provide the parts for their build?
A: Yes. Parts kits are always welcome.

Q: Can surface mount parts be provided in less than reel quantities?

A: Yes. If your build will be assembled using our auto pick and place process, we ask that all surface mount parts be provided on continuous tape, reels, and tubes and in trays.

Q: Do you have no-lead (RoHS) compliant assembly capabilities?

A: Yes. We offer no-lead assembly for surface mount and thru-hole assembly.

Q: What information is required when requesting an assembly quotation?

A: Our web page has a Request for Quote form that outlines the required information needed to provide you with a quotation. For an assembly only quotation, a bill of material, electronic Gerber files, desired build qty and assembly turn time is sufficient.

Q: Do you offer testing to your customers?

A: Yes. We are happy to test circuit board assemblies using procedures and fixtures provided by our customers.

Q: My project requires some mechanical assembly. Do you offer mechanical assembly?

A: Yes. Mechanical assemblies are welcome. Please contact us to discuss any unique assembly requirements.

Q: I am interested in Turnkey assembly for my project. Do you offer this service?

A: Yes. Nelson Specialties offers full Turnkey assembly based on customer requirements.
